Representatives from BPI Foundation, Bayan Academy, and Bukang Liwayway – Dawn for the Poor ministries visit Trece Martirez, Cavite to early Christmas presents to ultra-poor families.
BPI Foundation, the social development arm of BPI, recently provided food assistance to the ultra-poor communities in Cavite through its “Maagang Pamasko sa Panahon ng COVID-19," a project under its Bayanihan program that aims to uplift the spirits and give hope to those most affected by the pandemic this holiday season.
BPI Foundation Executive Director Owen Cammayo leads the distribution of relief packs and Christmas packages to ultra-poor families in Trece Martirez, Cavite.
In partnership with Bayan Academy and Bukang Liwayway - Dawn for the Poor Ministries, a total of 250 ultra-poor families or around 1,250 individuals in Trece Martirez, Cavite received relief packs containing rice, canned goods, cereal drink, and hygiene kits, as well as Christmas packages containing spaghetti and fruit salad ingredients.
Residents in Trece Martirez, Cavite line up to receive their relief packs and Christmas packages from BPI Foundation.
