BPI BAYAN aims to provide employees the opportunity to become active citizens and change-makers in their local communities through different volunteer modalities depending on their interests and motivations.
The program equips volunteers with skills in program management and design thinking to enable them in conceptualizing and implementing projects that will sustainably help communities. Volunteer projects are aligned with the Foundation’s core pillars in financial education, entrepreneurship, and sustainable environment to magnify our reach.
In 2018, BPI BAYAN has engaged over 8,732 employee volunteers in various volunteer activities in communities. Out of the 8,732-strong volunteers, 1,200 participated in the biggest nationwide volunteer day of BPI in which employees helped build houses for 10 GK communities in Paranaque, Muntinlupa, Cavite, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Palawan, Cebu, Bacolod, and Davao del Norte.
