BPI SoIL

BPI SoIL or Social Immersion Lab facilitates the formation of highly engaged next-generation bank leaders who can steer the bank to a direction of inclusive growth. The social immersion will enable these leaders to create more relevant, financially inclusive, and innovative financial products and services for under-served markets. The pilot runs of BPI SoIL deployed nominated key officers of the bank to small-holder farmer cooperatives in Negros Occidental and Bohol.

Since 2016, 37 BPI officers were deployed in five (5) Peoples Organizations (POs) in Negros Occidental and Bohol, helping over 250 farmers.
